Repair Cafe

Last Saturday of each month (excluding December), 10am-12pm

Oregon Hall, Quercus Beechworth, Corner of Ford & Church Street

The Quercus Beechworth Repair Café is the place to visit to repair your items and learn a new skill. Our volunteer repairers are here to inspire and advise as well as repair. Or you can just visit for a cuppa and chat; it’s a great place to meet new people.

New volunteer repairers are always welcome. You can volunteer monthly, or offer a one-off service for a specialist skill. We also welcome volunteers to assist in welcoming visitors and setting up morning tea – no repair skill required!

The Repair Café greatly appreciates the donation of tools and equipment from the former Beechworth Women’s Shed.

Supporting community events

We value Community, Fun, and Inclusion. Our purpose is to facilitate community participation and social inclusion in ways that strengthen local spirit and pride.

In action, this means we WANT to work with YOU! Quercus Beechworth can support you to make your community organisation event stronger, more vibrant, and more inclusive. We want to hear from you.

The Quercus Beechworth “Chill Out Zone” is an inclusive, welcoming space that can be set up at any community activity. We provide a sensory-friendly, free place for people to gather when they need a break from the action of the event to reset and recharge.

If you would like to discuss how Quercus Beechworth can support your event, please email us.

Promote your event

Quercus Beechworth is happy to promote free community events to the local community.

Events will be promoted at the discretion of Quercus Beechworth staff. Please ensure your event is free/low cost, run by a community organisation, primarily for the Beechworth & surrounding community. For profit business activities will not be promoted.
